Capital Fall Home Show at Lansdowne Park
September 19 - 21, 2008

Dedication Day - Friday September 12, 12:00 noon
196 Durocher, Ottawa (Vanier)

François and Maguy Mudioko have worked all Spring and Summer renovating their home with a team of volunteers, sponsors and local businesses to give their family a safe, decent and affordable place to live. They are enjoying a new kitchen, bathroom and light fixtures, flooring and a finished basement!
This renovation was possible because of a gift of $35,000 from Canadian Erectors Limited. The Williams Family lived at 196 Durocher from the years 2000-2008, when one of their children became ill and needed to move to Toronto in order to have family support. Habitat NCR worked with Habitat Toronto to find the Williams family a suitable Habitat home to purchase in that area, after selling their home back to Habitat NCR. Habitat NCR then renovated 196 Durocher to accommodate the Mudioko family and upgrade some of the amenities to make it new again.
